Biography

Meagan K. Tripp is an Assistant Professor of German. She teaches courses at all levels of the

German curriculum and a Connections course (first-year seminar) called Performing Bodies. Her

research examines intersections between modernist literature and dance with attention to

embodiment, gender, sexuality, and poetics. She also works on inclusive pedagogies,

articulation, and outreach. She serves on the National German Exam committee and as a

college representative for the Central Pennsylvania chapter of the American Association of

Teachers of German. In 2024, she received a Goethe-Institut / American Association of

Teachers of German Certificate of Merit, an award for the furthering of German education in

the United States. At F&M, she is a founding board member of the FPS Queer and Trans

Alliance, an affinity group for faculty and staff.
