As we inch closer to F&M鈥檚 early decision deadline on Nov. 15, students cite these reasons 鈥 and many others 鈥 when they share why F&M felt like the right college fit.
鈥淢y college counselor used the phrase, 鈥楤ig fish, small pond,鈥 when describing F&M.
The small class sizes provide opportunities to make connections with other students
and professors.鈥
India Freeman 鈥27鈥淔&M stood out to me as a close-knit community that valued intellectual curiosity,
experiential learning, and close relationships between students and faculty.鈥
William Gerber 鈥26鈥淚 knew F&M alumni who spoke at length about the community... Despite their different
backgrounds and class years, they all belonged to sections of campus that felt like
home to them. Now it feels like home to me.鈥
Kelvin Lartey 鈥27鈥淚 chose to attend F&M because of the close-knit community, as well as the rigorous
course load. I knew that attending F&M would give me the best preparation for my future
research endeavors and career.鈥

which fosters a strong sense of community and encourages intellectual curiosity.鈥

department 鈥 convinced me to take the plunge and upend myself to Lancaster from Los
Angeles. Nothing can replace the culture of scholarship and integrity we share at
