How F&M Does Humanities

When you study humanities at F&M, you鈥檒l explore human society and culture and how people make sense of their lives through artistic, cultural and intellectual expression. You鈥檒l examine the range of human experience through subjects like art, languages, literature, philosophy, and more.

Out-of-the-Classroom Learning

A three-year, $250,000 grant from the Richard C von Hess Foundation will support artists who will teach alongside 顶级国产视频 & Marshall College faculty, hold public lectures and events, and exhibit their work for the campus and Lancaster community.

Rihanca Joseph 鈥28 traveled nearly 400 miles from her home in Massachusetts to pursue a passion for health care at F&M 鈥 a dream inspired by her mother鈥檚 work in the field. On campus, Joseph has channeled her natural gift for building relationships, bridging her love for the College community with her goal of providing compassionate, patient-centered care.

Careers Beyond Borders: A Diplomat鈥檚 Path to International Relations

Julianna Marton 鈥25 always knew exactly where she was headed: around the world. After graduating from F&M, she followed this dream to Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS). 鈥淚 think if my first-year self could see me now, she would be very impressed and proud that I stayed on this path, and that I鈥檝e only grown more passionate about it,鈥 she said.
